It was the first time I met you,
This weird feeling I never knew,
You confessed your feelings, and I was glad,
You promised me, you won’t make me sad,
You made me laugh when I was blue,
You’ve shown me things I never knew,
We shared the laughter and the pain,
And embraced me close when it started to rain,
But then things changed, I don’t know why,
You went away and I started to cry,
I started to doubt but then I knew,
We were too far apart and I was blue,
On those moments, I felt so weak,
Those moments went to days and then to weeks,
I made my move and asked you why,
You didn’t say a thing and it caused me to cry,
My broken heart wouldn’t mend,
The torn pieces you didn’t send,
Yet, you gave me courage to start anew,
Unbounded by memories, I told myself….
